YES...there is this GREEN NATIONAL VOLUTEER...and me joining them this after for evening PULAU UBIN walk..
meet at CHANGI JETTY 4pm...$4/px for boat fee..
u CANNOT pluck. but u can pick up the broken pods on the ground containing the goli seeds...if u pluck unripe, seeds may not germinate. only those drop on the ground are ripe. and picking those is not a crime...they ask u, u tell them helping to clear rubbish...get it?

there are in AH YAT at turf city...they even have the wild little ugly duck with super long neck...but all sub standard...(they called it donald ugly duck!)
the one i tasted in hk and later when SAN SUI WAH shifted to vancouver is something out of this world..
they seasoned the pigeons in their special spices...roast it partially, then fry it...then roast again...i think the process like this...
results: the skin is so crispy and fragrant...and the meat...my god...so so tender..it's something between a frog leg and a solid chicken (not those NTUC frozen floury one hor)....and the spices penetrated into the succulent juicy flesh.....OUT OF THIS WORLD!!
then u dip the drumstick into the spiced salt...shiok..!! mo ta teng!!
pity...pigeon is so small...normally i will sup 2 of those birds...and sometime 3...if my pal is paying...haahaa...;9)
even the bones is roasted-fried so crispy...u can chew it...now u know what's the meaning of "swallow even ur bones"....haahaa...;9)

pai seh..u din read clearly...SAN SUI WAH roast pigeons are shifted to VANCOUVER no longer in hk...
but in hk, in most restaurants, they still serve up roast pigeon..
my last trip there about 5 yrs back, each pigeon cost about HK32 about S$7+....i heard SHA TIN sells the best pigeons...

Mr Brown camping tok kong, not just standard english, QUEEN ENGLISH some more.

RM 25...is EX...about.. $10 right?....here i think only cost $8...but so far..not nice...tough and not tasty...nothing near to the lousiest standard in HK....

just like...I HATE FISHING...i always think how dreadful for the fish to suffocate out of water..and how painful it is to be hanging onto the sharp hook...
but if u hooked the fish..and then dun eat it..and then let it back to the water after much suffering...it is a great sin!..

Masterbed, crows classified under PEST not PET leh. n pigeon is symbol of peace mah, how can eat them, must hv more cantonese in garment, than pigeons can classified as food, thats why spca dun go after hawkers selling pork, but if they sell dog meat, than its illegal. instead of thinking along logical line, can Masterbed temporarily think within the classification ?
