and yes...now since u mention...all the prata shops suddenly appear in my blain...
go to little india...many eateries not only selling prata , they also got cheppati....thosai...thosai masala (with potato and other veggies wrapped inside)....italia...ampoom...etc...more choices...and yes...the NAAN...THE SUPER DUPER GARLIC NAAN..YUM..YUM!!
silly me...how could i ve missed those...
i know cos i got big sized indian chief who always treats me to good indian makan.....cos...me his bigger pirate INDIAN CHINESE CHIEF....haahaa...;9)

Think of going to ewton Food Centre?
Learnt that the centre had just finished a mutli-million-dollar makeovers, is their makan there better than before?
Can anyone tell me what is nice over at the Newton Food Centre?
I like the popiah there. It has juicy filling. The stall also selling well-marinated satay meats.
The name of the stall is at no. 12 and the stall name is Popiah and satay.
I also like the fried oyster at no. 73 and the stall name is Fried oyster omelette.

still opening some malay and indians..but most chinese closed shops liao..
and u can drive further down to the junction where NUS and west coast rd...u will find ur fanciful roti prata....go for the cheese...shiok...or next door u have ur nasi lemak....ask for extra chilli...damn shiok !!
what about me...no lah...me already slimmed down to 79 kg from my piggy monster frame of 92...so i skip...haahaa...;9)

for lighter snack...maybe can try the congee at TA WAN CHOU...at chinatown complex...opp PIsces SHOPPING...u won't miss it...lots of eaters there..
or u can try the quieter maxwell rd market...i prefer this as their chok or congee is better than the more popular one....got raw fish too..and many other food there...

Oh, no worry, don't you know fishing isnow LEEgalised in some reservoirs? They even have signs put up to tell people ----> Fishing Point Starts Here.
Its a nice place. If you have a gf or wife, bring her there during evening time. If you have kids, can also bring them there to enjoy the nice breezy surrounding. When you see a young couple that run around bare footed, each with a small fishing net, thats me and my baby :p
