maybe we have a TIMSUM gathering the whole bunch of people in my gardening class..
i know MIRAMAR HOTEL ..they got TIMSUM BUFFET WITH SIDE DISHES ALL THROWN IN...VERY CHEAP...11.90 +++...each maybe only like barely $15 ...worth it!!....but must booking lst if many going....
what do u think?

Hi, I read your posting with great interest n I really feel happy!!!
I know of a place where u can have good teh tariks n Muslim food at great price!!!It is location at the canteen of Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.
I use to relax there during my lunch and tea-break time.
The stall owner there are Malaysians.
Life there is really relax and slow.
Maybe one day we shall meet there for a tea-break.

come to think of it hor...i was poorer than i used to be...but certainly I M ALOT HAPPIER!...and when i initially retired..i worried alot..and very very apphrensive...
i dunno where my next dollar will come from....and how am i going to survive as i was inflicted by chronic diabetes....i fear i may go blind...lose a leg ...or what bad ills will befall on me...
and that was the first time i saw this forum...and wrote in for advice....
i was pretty touched to the kind responses i got...and during that time...i was fortunate to come across this heart sutra...PRAJNAPARAMITA SUTRA...
and after just a fip and read through...i dunno..something funny happened...like i was enlightened...and saw the real situation i was in...
THERE WASN'T ANYTHING TO FEAR...OTHER THAN MY OWNSELF...AND THERE on...THE CHAINS OF THE UNKNOWN AND FEAR BROKE FREE FROM ME...
and as they said...it was history from there on wards...
THERE ISN'T ANYTHING TO FEAR...EXCEPT UR OWNSELF...
trust me....just face life one step at a time...whatever hasn't happened...forget it...IT MAY NOT HAPPEN...like me now...IT DIN HAPPEN...and on top of it...my diabetic condition went reversal....it got better...my blood sugar drops drastically to about 6.3...
maybe becos of my lack of finance that i dun indulge myself in pai seh...buffets any more...unless some one belanja ..once in a blue moon..
and i tot i can't pay the monthly overheads...i m bearing 2 pigeonholes mind u....but some how rather...it pays by themself...i dunno...cos heaven very kind and generous to this blurcock goon...
i hate to say this...but ever since i retire...i buy lotteries...very small $1 or 2 only..and most of the time..keeps striking...
and today...yes today....25 july...i realised i kena toto 5#s again from a $2 QP....and collected my $1,112...meaning...next month no worry again..
i check my record...like every month there are excesses in lottery money ...than in loss...and excesses are so much..it allows me to live comfortably...without any hassles...
i dun endorse everyone here after reading this go hantam in lottery...IT'S BAD...but i never tot of winning...and heaven just love giving it to me....
and pls dun ask me for lucky numbers....I DUN WANT TO PROPAGATE GREED....i would instead really love to see u embrace ur inner compassion cos i feel when u done that...ur luck will auto change for the better....maybe like me..I REALLY DUNNO....

THERE is one at west coast highway...near to NUS...they ve a very popular NASI LEMAK next to it...parking is a real problem...good ticketing fine for aunties in white...
for the hotel, there are 2.
one in PHOENIX HOTEL...buffet roti prata...many version...chocolate, cheese, fruits one....etc..
and another in THE MELTING POT, CONCORDE HOTEL, HAVELOCK ROAD..
go for the weekend TUNCH , ie tea and lunch...so u actually starts from 11am..eat all the way to 5pm....2 for the price of one...
they serve up on the spot freshly made roti prata...good curries..and try the banana roti prata...shiok!
quite reasonable the price...the last time i was there was like $18 +++....now i dunno...cos broke so hawker fare is now more to me...haahaa...;9)
normally a good prata shop will sell the very difficult to make..TISSUE PRATA..this one i like...
u can also get it at the new prata shop along CLUNY RD...just opp the new BOTANIC GARDEN ENTRANCE there going towards bt timah side.
the blur mamaks here always calculate wrongly the bill....so..sssssshhhh keep quiet...pay and quickly get lost!...;9)
